Houda Bakkali

La Bonita Digital was created in 2009 by Houda Bakkali as her independent creative space dedicated to innovation at the intersection of visual arts, communication, and technology. She develops interdisciplinary projects spanning visual arts, immersive environments, 360º digital transformation, marketing and public relations, and edTech solutions, with a clear focus on cultural, educational, and social impact.

With a strong background in medical and science communication, Bakkali has led numerous initiatives focused on public health outreach, multimedia storytelling, emerging technologies, and the intersection of art and medicine, including interviews with more than 100 experts from diverse fields. Her project Art for Health received the American Illustration Award (New York, 2024), while Creativity Against Covid-19 was part of the global #UNCOVID19BRIEF campaign launched by the United Nations and was awarded by the International Motion Awards.

Her talks and workshops have been presented at institutions such as the European Commission, the Alliance Française, civic centers of the Barcelona City Council, among other institutions. She is also recognized as the first Moroccan-Spanish artist to participate in the inaugural Web3 art project by TIME. Among her pioneering initiatives are the first extended reality exhibitions at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport and Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport, a global augmented reality and educational innovation project across six civic centers in Barcelona, and the first immersive, multimedia, extended reality educational experience based on Don Quixote. Her work combining art, education, and technology has been exhibited in more than 30 countries in public and private events.
